Bandallamas is a collaborative ensemble of legendary musicians, who are steeped in global culture. Their music incorporates tribal beats, reggae, blues, jazz, funk, rock, and more; transporting their audience through an all-embracing sound of an irresistible world beat.
This eclectic group of artists transcends categorization, while creating their own unique spirit of sound. These musicians are transporters of the vibe - through the legacy of the ages; the essence of musical spirit and origin - music's very roots. These musicians honor the purity of the art of music, preserving its soul in every note. These musicians are Bandallamas.
Bandallamas honor their limitless musical soul by inviting guest artists to join their fluid and tenacious evolution; just as music itself has evolved since the first beat reverberated in the core of our long-forgotten ancestors.

Dynamic supergroup Bandallamas, along with some very talented colleagues will be taking center stage at the Barrymore Theatre on November 11 for their special “Power of Eleven” (11/11/11) showcase. Since 11/11/11 is Veteran’s Day, the group is partnering with Veterans For Peace in hopes that the music will bring us all together and allow the group to donate a portion of the evening’s proceeds to their cause (a scholarship foundation).

Mark that date down if you want to be part of an incredible music event at Waterfest. No, not headliner Loverboy, though certainly some people will show just to hear the Canucks do “Working for the Weekend.” (Wonder if lead singer Mike Reno still wears those red leather trousers…). The real show that night is Bandallamas, a veritable who’s who of musicians but featuring the Valley’s own Chris Aaron on guitar and vocals.
